Having a home built in a factory bothers some people. They think that if a home is not built out in the weather, sitting in the rain, exposed to the elements, that they cannot have a quality home. I would say that everything we own today has probably come from a factory. How could a home be considered inferior because it is built in a controlled environment where it never gets rained on, or where the material doesn't sit there exposed to the elements? Material and components that are cut with precision computer technology with less waste and error is what makes for a quality built home!
There is a myth that the products incorporated into the building of the homes we offer are cheap, substandard materials. The materials used are the same material every site built builder uses, but the difference is that our home builder buys the same material in bulk. Carpet, wiring, lumber, paint, electrical fixtures, siding, roofing, etc. are bought by the train or truck load in bulk. For example, an individual might have to pay $3.00 for a 2x4, our home builder buys the same lumber for $1.50. Not inferior material, just the same material at a cheaper price.

According the the U.S. census, by the year 2030, the number of Americans above the age of 65 is expected to be four times as great as it was in 1990. By 2010 one fourth of all Americans will be at least 55 years old. By the year 2025, one half of the population of the United States will be over the age of 65.
Many people are now having to take another look at their retirement plans.
